CONNECT 3: Creativity & Climate Anxiety in Lockdown
For young people aged 11-25
For Mental Health Awareness Week, the Young Activist Network is pleased to welcome back P.O.S.T.O. Água, who will be joining us from Brazil over Zoom for a calming guided drawing workshop.
We will develop breathing skills that may lessen the anxiety, mental stress and confusion that can arise from being in lockdown, alongside climate anxiety. After the practice you may feel refreshed and centered.
The session is designed to enable you to repeat the practice in your own time. You could use it as a break from screen time, between daily tasks, or just to re-energise.
All young people aged 11-25 are welcome, even if you have been to the practice before!
Please bring along: paper and pencil to draw and a plant that you feel interested in and would like to draw. If you do not have a plant in soil, something picked from outside in water will work just fine!
